Hi ya, I had very good intentions of posting our weekly linkies from our campsite this week. Lack of power (after a Peppa Pig marathon in the car) prevented that… so my apologies.
I prepared this Picnic Cob Loaf before we left to go on our camping trip. It was nice not to have to prepare food when we arrived. It was ready to go and really tasty.
Hope my fellow Aussies are enjoying this Australia Day long weekend and you’re staying safe if you live in the flood affected regions.

Thanks hun. Glad we beat the rain home.
Thanks for including the recipe link – I’m going to try this one for sure! YUM.
Thanks Janet. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Isn’t the weather just awful!? Has calmed down here now. I love this idea, just love the idea of pre preparing something instead of making it while you are there! Less mess!!
Pouring. It was so tasty. Happy campers here. Thankfully we beat the rain home.
I love these sort of recipes and totally agree that when you get to a campsite, there is enough to do, without having to worry about setting up to cook!
I must remember this, as I know I would love it….getting the kids to eat it may prove a challenge though!
