Look away Alicia. Here’s a photo of what my mother prepared for our dessert last night, trifle. My hips will feel it this week but it was delicious at the time.

This is very similar to mum’s recipe. I don’t like alcohol in desserts (some soak the sponge in rum) so this is a good rendition of this recipe.

No baking recipe from me this week as I’ve been a bit under the weather. As always I can’t wait to see your recipes. You have so many delicious ideas.

My mum makes a mean trifle too! None for me at the moment, I will have to find a low calorie version. However I did have a girls night last night and went over my calorie ration, not my much though.  So I need to be extra good   I have nothing as yet, but will link up later
