{Recipe} Broccoli Bites
When Kaz showed me this recipe I knew it was one I had to try. Very quick and easy to make, and so far the twins seem to like them.
Just the name to me sounds very tempting as broccoli is one of my favourite foods. Though I can imagine to most kids the name would invite a few scrunched up faces and turned up noses. B1 and B2 are not old enough to really know what most foods are by name yet. Though they do seem to like broccoli as much as their mum at the moment. However, their likes and dislikes of foods can change from one day to the next.
Ingredients:
500gms Steamed Broccoli (I used fresh, but you could also use frozen)
1 and 1/2 cups of grated cheddar cheese
3 Eggs
1 cup of breadcrumbs (this recipe says seasoned Italian breadcrumbs, but I used normal wholemeal breadcrumbs)
Method:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Form small patties with your hands and lay on a greased baking tray.
Bake on 180˚c for 25 mins.
Let cool and enjoy.

Yes when you mix everything in the bowl you mush the broccoli up and mix it all in with the other ingredients.
